Newest obsession

Dear Friends,

My latest obsession has kept me busy, tearing, shredding, dyeing, painting, studding and sewing vintage levi's and turning them into something bright and new. My work space is strewn with the discarded legs of jeans and my bathtub has taken on a pinkish hue but it all seems to be worth it. Be on the lookout for my etsy shop hopefully coming soon :)

Enjoy
J

An unpredictable pictoral pastiche whose aim is to inspire and instigate a smile...

So between work, school, writing, and play time I have been seriously lagging in online time so as sort of a reintroduction to blog life here are some images to get the creative juices flowing...there is no real rhyme or reason, no connecting thread other than the pure fact that they make me happy...

"Cause I'm free as a bird now, and this bird you can not change"

This Monday Ali and I took a little Trek into the canyon in search of some light and possibly a field...both of which we found. Battling thorny flowers, lots of crawly insects and wind we found the most amazing tree and a slew of wildflowers.

"..Runaway American Dream"

The indiscriminate spring weather put a damper on our normal monday photo date however today was absolutely gorgeous (if not a bit chilly )so we were happy to postpone. Today Ali and I ventured up yet another hiking path, her carrying a camera and me burdened by a metal chair. We made quite an interesting looking pair and we got some strange looks but the wind was blowing and the sun was shining so who cares :)

I apologize for the plethora of pictures, however Ali and I loved the setting so much we couldn't stop and I couldn't narrow down my top picks anymore than this...

Happy Spring! and thanks for checking in
