Newest obsession
Dear Friends,
My latest obsession has kept me busy, tearing, shredding, dyeing, painting, studding and sewing vintage levi's and turning them into something bright and new. My work space is strewn with the discarded legs of jeans and my bathtub has taken on a pinkish hue but it all seems to be worth it. Be on the lookout for my etsy shop hopefully coming soon :)
Enjoy

Rose Bowl Flea Market
Dear Friends,
Something you must check out: Undoubtedly the best flea market in southern california, the rose bowl flea market is a mecca for treasure seekers, vintage clothes fanatics and people seeking curiosities of all kinds. On the second sunday of every month vendors flock to the rose bowl parking lot to sell their wares, which range from antiques to plants to clothes to random trinkets. Probably my new favorite monthly ritual!

Beyond here lies nothin'... Nothin' but the moon and stars
Dear Friends,
Last friday Ali and I visited Bad Lands, a prehistoric beach up above my house. There is a sort of indescribable feeling you get from being surrounded by rock and shrubs on all sides and yet your feet are in the sand. If you haven't been up there to explore I recommend you go. The sun was out and there was a california winter chill in the air. We had a pretty easygoing and playful shoot climbing rocks and trees and looking for treasure...
Enjoy

"Cause I'm free as a bird now, and this bird you can not change"
This Monday Ali and I took a little Trek into the canyon in search of some light and possibly a field...both of which we found. Battling thorny flowers, lots of crawly insects and wind we found the most amazing tree and a slew of wildflowers.

I'm late Im late for a very important date!
Monday was a hodge podge of activities... Ali, Emily and I put together a little tea party sans the tea in my front garden; sandwiches lemonade and the cutest cupcakes ever. Then we had some fun trying to capture a shot for Ali's design school portfolio. She needed a magazine cover that had went with the store she created, hence the myriad of outfits I wore on this lovely sunny day..

Emily and her absolutely beautiful boy, Thomas.
The white dress wasn't working against the turquoise dresser as an editorial piece sooo on to dress number two!
...and outfit number 3...
as per usual my little pup interrupting the shoot...

Another Monday, another outfit. This is not going to be a long one since I really should be studying at the moment...
Meet my new favorite piece of clothing...my vintage kimono jacket. And yes I am aware that it is slightly outlandish but I feel like I can fly when I am wearing it so I don't really care.
