Inside it felt as if you were stepping into the night sky...if the night sky were covered in graffiti but still it was pretty nifty.

Style Icon: Stevie Nicks

One of my all time favorite women of style is Stevie Nicks. Probably one of the most distinguishable female voice in rock and roll (barring Janis Joplin), her voice is like a wild wind that hits you in your core.  More over, she has a killer gypsy/ free spirit look; Flowey fabrics, long hair, fringe and top hats? yes please...

I can see clearly now...

Sometimes you need to climb to the top of the mountain to gain a little perspective. literally. or if not a mountain at least a very big hill. I'm blessed to have one such very big hill behind my house that offers the perfect place to step back and be thankful for what I have...

So a few days ago (well more then a few) Ali and I decided to take a hike to clear our heads and it turned into an impromptu photo sesh...devoid of makeup or pretense. I don't have all the photos yet but I figured I would post what was on my camera.

Currently infatuated with: Spell and the Gypsy

One of my favorite places to find inspiration is the blog by the Aussie girls at "Spell and the Gypsy Collective"...they seem to know intimately everything that I love; feathers, fringe, silver and turquoise...and they have an absolutely beautiful way of putting it all together. Their pieces are infused with a sense of adventure and beauty that make you want to explore and be free. It makes me want to hop a plane just to shop.

Weekend Shenanigans...

 Is it just me or do the weekends go by faster as we get older??  I spent mine pretty much doing nothing...although i did plant my summer veggies and frolicked on a stormy beach with the ones I love (playing with my new fujifilm x10). Did you have any good weekend shenanigans?

Bikini-shmini

Hurray! It's Friday! Friday is a day for dreaming and since the fog insists on hanging around today my dreams are of sunshine. No wonder I am on a bikini kick... I can't stop online stalking my favorites, wishing it was summer so I could justify buying some new swimwear. Here are a couple of my favorite picks for the upcoming sun season!

 Acacia Swimwear: I love their pattern choices, but be prepared to get cheeky because their bottoms are cut teeny tiny

Vitamin A: Once your skin is a little bit sun kissed, there is nothing better than white to make you feel beautiful. Being a girl with boobs I can't actually wear the twisted bandeau top but I dream about it...

Mara Hoffman: I am obsessed with her use of pattern! Her suits just scream happiness and she has so many different cuts, anybody can wear her pieces. How can you not be happy in these colors?

L Space: If you haven't gathered by now, I have a bit of a problem when it comes to fringe! Love this! and it comes in black and white for the less adventurous.
